This MK109 complete upper receiver assembly is compatible with any mil-spec lower receiver, converting your firearm to a long-stroke gas piston action. It features a BCG complete with a steel operating rod and piston, similar in principle to an AK. To me and ME ONLY the 300 BLK is just a pistol cartridge that shoots rifles bullets. Yes I can lob some in to long range targets but its still just a pistol cartridge. I think as a hunting round it is limited to range because of its lower velocity.
I don't see to many hogs killed past 200 yards with it. 16-inch 300 Blackout upper $449 at Palmentto State Armory. Again, this is a jack-of-all-trades carbine option, with exceptional build quality. The one drawback to Diamondback's 300 Blackout upper, no bolt-carrier group or charging handle.
